The Lakeland Yacht & Country Club
Swim Team (Lakeland Lightning) is a
competitive swim program, which is
affiliated with the Lakeland Yacht &
Country Club
through membership requirements and the Private Club
League (PCL). The purpose of the
Lakeland Lightning is to assist in the
holistic development of swimmers of
various ages and abilities, while
maintaining a spirit of fun and
camaraderie. Contact us at
680-CLUB for additional information.

The instructional league is offered to 3 and 4 year old players. It is a good way for the kids to be introduced to the game and at minimal cost to the parents. We hope the kids will enjoy the game and continue to come back to the park for many more years as they continue to develop a knowledge of the game of baseball.

All players play on both offense and defense for the entire game. Coaches remain on the field at all time to give instruction to the players on both offense and defense. We also use a rubber style baseball to prevent injuries and help the kids lose the fear of being hit with a baseball.

Each player gets an award at the end of each spring season.
